Founded in 1949, the company has its headquarters in Barcelona (Spain) and is present in 19 countries worldwide, with production centers, engineering centers and commercial offices located throughout Europe, North America, South America and Asia. /p pOur client is an official supplier and technological partner of a vast majority of automotive companies from all over the world. /p pWith a strong focus on innovation and advancement, our client invests 4% of its turnover in RD every year. /p h3Job Description /h3 h3Functions /h3 ul liBased at the Barcelona HQ, the process engineer will provide know-how and support for continuous improvement activity in the plant based in SE Asia with primary focus on cost, quality and throughput. /li liMaintain all process documentation including process flowcharts and operator documentation for all products released to manufacturing. /li liSeek out, evaluate and implement cost saving methods, procedures and suggestions. /li liSupport the New Product Development (NPD) process by developing and implementing production/processing methods and controls to meet cost, quality and production goals for new and existing products. /li liPerform root cause analysis, formulate and test potential corrective action solutions for all assigned notifications; use appropriate quality tools to drive root cause analysis.



/li liWork closely with all engineering areas to make design and process improvements to improve quality and throughput. /li liAssure all improvement activity is in compliance with approved methods, procedures and quality standards. /li liRecommend and implement approved improvements and/or modifications in current processes, tooling, components, and equipment. /li liMonitor and stay up-to-date with the latest technology, materials, equipment and practices; educate others in the department as well as key plant personnel. /li liReview proposals of outside suppliers regarding the purchase of new or modernization of existing production/processing equipment. /li liDevelop, implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new and existing processes; provide process training as required to technicians, operators and support staff. /li liSupport Manufacturing Quality certification efforts by observing operator procedures in action and verifying all equipment is being properly maintained through Preventive Maintenance (PMs). /li liProvide technical guidance for the prototype development and assembly. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in process engineering preferably within a parking camera manufacturing/assembly company. /li liDegree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering). /li liFluency in English and Spanish of any level a plus but not required. /li liStrong verbal and written communication skills. /li liOrganisation and planning ability. /li liAvailability to travel regularly to partner in SE Asia (Philippines). /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
