ph3General Purpose /h3 pThe primary purpose of your job position is to implement assigned modules of the EHR Platform (PointClickcare) in all the facilities supported by PACS in accordance with current federal and state guidelines as well as the facility’s established privacy policies and procedures. /p h3Essential Duties /h3 pEvery effort has been made to identify the essential functions of this position. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or is an essential function of the position. /p h3Administrative Functions /h3 ul liReceive and follow work schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures. /li liAssist in organizing, planning and directing the EHR-related projects in accordance with set project deadlines. /li liAssist the EHR Project Manager and Director of EHR Systems, as required. /li liDevelop and maintain a good working rapport with other PACS Support team members, as well as other departments in all the supported facilities, to assure that PCC modules are implemented timely and properly. /li liProvide PCC Navigation training and re‑training on assigned modules. /li liBe fully proficient in assigned PCC Clinical Modules, as necessary. /li liMust be adaptable with schedule as onsite training is required to be conducted with facilities. /li liAudit assigned modules, as needed. /li liIncludes audits to support the legal team. /li liIncludes audits to support facility admission teams for compliance with proper utilization of the module. /li liIncludes audits to support facility nursing teams in collaboration with the Regional Director of Clinical Services, Medical Records Auditor, and Regional RAI Specialist. /li liIssue monthly reports covering audit results to the EHR Project Manager, Director of EHR Systems, Legal team, Clinical Leadership teams and Executive team. /li liWill consult with Regional Directors of Clinical Services, Regional RAI Specialists, Regional Directors of Therapy Services, and Legal team as appropriate. /li liMaintain spreadsheets on facility audit trends for deficient areas and monitors for improvement. /li liAlert facility personnel of audit trends and schedule follow‑up webinar training when needed. /li liAssist with maintaining masterfile of all facility leaders, main contacts and superusers.
/li liAgree not to disclose assigned user ID code and password for accessing resident/facility information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the supervisor. /li liAgree not to disclose resident’s protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the supervisor. /li liReport any known or suspected unauthorized attempt to access facility’s information system. /li liAssume the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of performing the assigned duties of this position. /li /ul h3Personnel Functions /h3 ul liReport known or suspected incidents of fraud to the Director of EHR Systems. /li liEnsure that departmental computer workstations left unattended are properly logged off or the password‑protected automatic screensaver activates within established policy guidelines. /li /ul h3Staff Development /h3 ul liAttend and participate in mandatory in‑service training programs as scheduled (e.g., OSHA, TB, HIPAA, Abuse Prevention, etc.). /li liAttend and participate in workshops, seminars, etc., as approved. /li /ul h3Safety and Sanitation /h3 ul liReport all unsafe/hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc., to your supervisor immediately. /li /ul h3Equipment And Supply Functions /h3 ul liReport equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to your supervisor as soon as possible. /li liEnsure supplies have been replenished in work areas as necessary. /li liAssure that work/assignment areas are clean and records, files, etc., are properly stored before leaving such areas on breaks, end of workday, etc. /li /ul pAs a Senior EHR Specialist, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. /p h3Qualification: Education and/or Experience /h3 ul liMust possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED. Must be able to type a minimum of 45 words per minute and use dictation equipment. A working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, legal aspects of health information, coding,
indexing, etc., is preferred but not required. /li liCollege graduate, preferred. Nursing education, highly preferred.
