Engages with customers, transports groceries, locates products and conducts price verifications. Performs various customer service duties while maintaining a safe and sanitary shopping environment. /p h3Essential Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ul liBuilds product displays and maintains attractive product presentation by assembling product in allotted space, removing cardboard from shelves as product is purchased and placing into bailer. /li liCollects shopping carts and stores them in the cart corral. Keeps parking lot free of trash and debris; communicates with management any incidents, actions, or concerns occurring on store premises. /li liMaintains full stock conditions on grocery display racks and shelves. /li liPromotes product sales through active customer engagement. /li liTakes precaution when handling objects to avoid damage to products, property, etc. /li liMaintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures. Complies with all Company policies and procedures. /li liMaintains friendly and customer-service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and transporting groceries as needed. /li /ul h3Knowledge, Skills and Abilities /h3 ul liAbility to remain courteous with customers at all times. /li liAbility to effectively communicate (in written and verbal form) with customers and partners. /li liAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. /li liAbility to operate manual and electric pallet jack (partners 18 yrs.+). /li liAbility to safely work with sharp objects such as knives, box cutters, etc. /li liAbility to work versátil schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
