As Platform Owner Database, you enable Sanofi’s data-intensive initiatives by building and operating robust database platforms. You lead architecture, security and evolution of cloud databases to serve data scientists, analysts and users across the enterprise. You drive compliant, scalable data solutions that support the AI-first transformation and regulatory standards. You work with cross-functional teams to optimize reliability, performance and cost, shaping the data foundation for integral patient and customer insights.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Lead database platform architecture, design and security aligned with company standards
• Develop optimized modules for reliability, latency and cost-efficiency
• Provide engineering support for database platforms in regulated environments (cloud, migration, hosting)
• Support data module engineers in data models and services design
• Drive automation and tooling using GitLab, GitHub Actions, Terraform and Ansible
• Ensure backup, monitoring and operational visibility with Netbackup, CommVault, Splunk and related tools
• Enforce GxP compliance and regulatory standards for databases




• Provide Level 3 operational support in collaboration with Cloud/Data architects, product owners and partners
• Lead and mentor a Data Engineering team and foster a high-performing, collaborative culture
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with a focus on Operational Excellence

Responsabilidades
• 10-15 years managing a Data Engineering team
• Strong experience with agile/scrum in life sciences/pharma context a plus
• Experience in compliance (quality, regulatory data privacy, GxP, SOX) and cybersecurity a plus
• Cloud experience with AWS and Azure (GCP a plus)
• Proficient SQL and relational xqbhyrx database knowledge; data warehousing (Snowflake a plus)
• Experience with data models and query tuning; IICS, Tibco a plus
• Scripting in Python; R a plus; GitHub a plus; PowerBI/Tableau a plus
• JIRA/Confluence experience; ServiceNow a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent; cloud certifications a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
