For more information, visit /p h3Purpose of the Role /h3 pThe People Advisor provides broad operational People Support across the employee lifecycle, acting as a trusted point of contact for employees, managers and the People team. The role combines strong People generalist knowledge with hands-on support in payroll, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, learning, performance management, People systems, reporting and People projects. /p pIt is a part time role (67,5%): 27h per week. /p h3Key Roles Responsibilities /h3 h3People Advisor Support /h3 ul liProvide practical People support to employees and managers on day-to-day people matters, including employee relations, absence management, disciplinary processes, grievances, performance issues, policy interpretation and workplace concerns. /li liSupport managers in applying company policies, local labour law and collective agreement provisions in a consistent, fair and legally sound way. /li liSupport performance management cycles, including follow-up with managers, documentation, system updates and employee communication. /li liContribute to the implementation and follow-up of training plans, including coordination of FUNDAE, training logistics, attendance tracking and reporting. /li liSupport Talent Development initiatives, coaching activities, leadership development actions and learning programs where required. /li /ul h3Payroll,
Time Attendance and People Administration /h3 ul liSupport the end-to-end payroll process for employees in Spain, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely execution. /li liSupport on collect, calculate and validate payroll inputs, including working time, absences, overtime, benefits, bonuses, allowances and other payroll-related variables. /li liMonitor Time Attendance systems, ensuring data accuracy, correct registration of working hours and proper follow-up of absence, leave and overtime processes. /li liAct as a first point of contact for employee payroll queries, ensuring timely, clear and accurate responses. /li liMaintain accurate employee records and personnel files, including contracts, addendums, leave requests and other employment-related documents. /li liSupport internal, external and statutory audits by ensuring documentation, processes and payroll records are updated, accurate and traceable. /li /ul h3People Projects /h3 ul liSupport or lead local People projects such as absenteeism reduction, wellbeing initiatives, engagement surveys, recognition activities. /li liSupport employee engagement surveys and follow-up action plans, ensuring that feedback is translated into practical improvement actions. /li liContribute to initiatives that promote a safe, healthy, inclusive and positive workplace culture. /li liDraft and coordinate People communications, policies, employee information, presentations and internal updates when required. /li liSupport the organization of site events, wellbeing activities, Griffith Cares initiatives, recognition moments and other employee experience initiatives.
/li liParticipate in internal and external People-related activities such as job fairs, campus recruitment, employee information sessions and People training sessions. /li /ul h3People Systems, Data and Reporting /h3 ul liEnsure People data accuracy, system integrity and timely updates across employee lifecycle processes. /li liProvide regular People reporting and analysis, including absenteeism, overtime, headcount, turnover, training, payroll variables and other key People KPIs. /li liUse data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities, translating analysis into clear recommendations for the People team and the business. /li liSupport managers and employees in the correct use of People systems, including training, guidance and troubleshooting. /li liMaintain process documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of People workflows, templates, reporting and controls /li /ul h3Education Experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Labour Relations, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field. Labour Relations is highly valued. /li liDemonstrated experience in an People generalist, People Advisor, People Coordinator or payroll-related role. /li liStrong understanding of Spanish labour legislation, People processes and employee lifecycle management. /li liAdditional expertise in Talent Development, coaching, employee relations, People systems or data analytics will be considered a clear advantage. /li liExperience with Workday, CloudPay, Time Attendance systems or similar People platforms, and strong MS Office skills, PowerPoint and Power BI is highly valued. /li liFluent Spanish and high level of English.
