Engineer . This role demands a keen understanding of tech and a
track record of success to fuel our continued growth. We are
building Poker simulation software that helps to uncover the best
way to play the game. It is a Game-Theory-Optimal (GTO) approach
that builds provably sound strategies. At the PBI Science team, the
successful applicant will join the existing efforts of GTO-based
software development. It will involve things such as: - Building
techniques and features described in academic papers- Building
support for different types of Poker (Holdem, Omaha, etc)-
Optimizing performance by profiling the code- Working with other
teams that will be end-users of the software- Refactoring existing
code to follow the best practices of OOP and C++ It is an exciting
position where experienced engineers will get to apply recent
academic research and learn about Nash-Equilibrium,
Counterfactual-Regret optimization, and other Game-Theory-related
concepts. Responsibilities Deliver new GTO solver features in an
agile (Scrum) environmentWrite highly performing C++ codeFollow the
best OOP practicesReview and refactor existing code Requirements
GTO / CFR Algorithms for solvers and game play.Bachelor’s or
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related
field. At least 5 years experience in C++/CUDAExperience using




C++11 or laterExperience profiling and optimizing code on
LinuxExperience using CMakeExperience writing unit and integration
testsStrong bias to actionAble to reliably work independently
Experience with parallel computing and GPU optimisation. Strong
understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software
engineering principles. Ability to write efficient, scalable, and
maintainable code. Experience with performance profiling and
