Experteer Overview
In this role you will support data infrastructure within the Data Experience (GITOPS) team to enable reliable, scalable data solutions. You will collaborate with developers, architects, and IT stakeholders to select appropriate data persistence approaches, automate database operations, and optimize data access. The position emphasizes data reliability, performance tuning, and timely issue resolution in a hybrid Barcelona setup. This is a chance to contribute to a leading travel platform and its AI-powered services.

• Act as the liaison between data infrastructure, architecture and development teams
• Select suitable technologies to store application data
• Define database operation procedures, automations and tooling
• Ensure data resources are allocated for optimal project development

Responsabilidades
• At least 5 years in critical DB environments
• DataOps mindset
• Solid experience in PostgreSQL
• Other DB technologies (Oracle, MySQL) considered a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Cloud-based solutions (Google Cloud Platform a plus)
• Experience with CI/CD automation tools (Jenkins, Gitlab)
• Hands-on automation tools (Ansible, Python) and orchestrators (Kubernetes)
• Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude or other AI-powered coding assistants
• Good communication skills
• Culture of continuous learning and collaboration
• Technical English
