In this role you lead a integral automation and performance testing team to advance PPG's quality engineering. You will define the testing strategy, tooling, and processes to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing software across the organization. You drive AI-powered and data-driven testing approaches to accelerate delivery and improve customer experience. You collaborate with business and IT partners to embed quality into the software lifecycle and shape enterprise-wide testing strategies. This is a strategic leadership role at the intersection of automation, analytics, and innovation.

• Lead a global team of automation and performance testing engineers to deliver strategic initiatives
• Define scope and quality objectives for releases across functional and non-functional areas
• Establish an automation-first testing strategy and enhance test automation frameworks

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience leading software testing, automation, or quality engineering teams
• Success designing, implementing, and scaling automated testing frameworks
• Strong experience with test automation tools and methodologies
• Experience with performance testing concepts, strategies, and tools
• Solid understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and modern delivery practices
• Experience leading global or distributed teams
• Project management experience handling multiple priorities xqbhyrx
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Experience leveraging AI/ML to enhance testing, including intelligent test creation and self-healing automation
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Tricentis Tosca AI or similar
• Proven ability to evaluate and govern emerging AI technologies for testing efficiency and quality
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience considered
• Preferred qualifications: Agile environments, mature DevOps, performance testing tools like JMeter or Carrier IO, ISTQB or Tosca certifications
• Experience facilitating roadmaps and strategic workshops
• Familiarity with enterprise software development toolchains
• Experience integrating AI-assisted quality engineering into the SDLC
