ph3Job Description /h3 pThe Onboard Safety Critical Senior Software Engineer is part of the Department of Air Refueling Software. The role includes: /p h3Mission Duties /h3 ul liTo be in charge of the Software Requirements Specification for the Onboard Safety Critical Computing Platforms developed inside the AR Domain. /li liTo be in charge of the Hardware/Software Integration Testing for the Onboard Safety Critical Processing Units developed inside the AR Domain. /li liTo be involved in the development of the Software DO-178B/C DAL A/B for the Onboard Processing Units developed under the responsibility of the Air Refueling domain, and to be involved in its verification (testing, reviews and analysis). /li liTo share the responsibility of the Software Certification Process of such Software in front of the Certification Authorities in order to demonstrate the compliance with the RTCA DO-178B/C DAL A/B Objectives. /li liTo lead RT and RD projects to evolve to new technological frameworks in the Safety Critical Airborne Systems development and certification. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liAdvance knowledge in Artificial Intelligence technology /li liDemonstrated previous experience in the usage of AI techniques /li liKnowledge in Software Certification Processes and Regulation (RTCA DO-178B/C up to DAL A/B). /li liAdvanced level of knowledge of C/C++ and Ada95/2012 programming language. /li liAdvanced level of knowledge of modelling languages and environments as UML and SysML, Matlab/Simulink and SCADE Suite/Display. /li liDemonstrated previous experience in Software Certification Processes applying the RTCA DO-178B/C up to DAL A/B. /li liAdvanced level of knowledge on Static Timing Analysis and optimization techniques.



/li liAdvanced level of knowledge on Design Constraints and optimization techniques. /li liKnowledge on Code Static Analysis techniques including such based on abstract interpretation. /li liKnowledge on SW Verification Techniques considering Software Hardware/Software Integration and Software Integration Testing, and Formal Review of Software Requirements, Software Architectures and Design, Source Code and Test Cases Definitions and Results. /li liKnowledge on Software Structural Coverage Analysis Techniques for DAL A/B. /li liKnowledge on Worst-Case Execution Time Analysis techniques /li liAdvanced knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems. /li liAdvanced knowledge of Partitioning Architectures and ARINC653 Standard. /li liKnowledge and demonstrated previous experience in control systems theory. /li liKnowledge and demonstrated previous experience in continuous integration environments and SW management tools such as JIRA, GIT/Bitbucket. /li /ul h3Additional valuable skills /h3 ul liAdvanced knowledge of Python and scripting. /li liDemonstrated previous experience in AGILE frameworks. /li liKnowledge in GPU technologies and GPGPU approaches /li liKnowledge in FPGA technologies and integration of AI/CV algorithms into FPGAs. /li liKnowledge in current state of the art of the usage and certification of AI in airborne systems /li liKnowledege in synthetic data generation and visual simulations, specifically in UNREAL framework.
