ppZurich Insurance Group is looking for a technical senior SAM Data and Technologies specialist to join our global Software Asset Management function and maintain and further develop the Flexera platform, along with in-house SAM solutions and data platforms. /p h3The Role /h3 ul liServe as the application owner for the Software Asset Management (SAM) technology data solution, ensuring its effective operation and ongoing enhancement. /li liActively participate as a member of the team responsible for deploying, customizing, supporting, and improving the SAM technology data platforms. /li liSupport the implementation of the SAM framework by contributing technical and data-driven insights to our internal and external customers. /li liApply industry best practices and share lessons learned in tools data management within the SAM domain. /li liProvide IT operational best practices and insights to facilitate the successful rollout of applications across multiple platforms. /li liDemonstrate familiarity with use cases across a broad spectrum of enterprise-grade software solutions particularly infrastructure, cloud computing, containerization, and tier 1 publisher products. /li liMaintain cross-functional awareness of both downstream and upstream processes related to SAM, ensuring comprehensive process understanding. /li liCollaborate with diverse stakeholders, including IT architecture, governance, security, support operations, finance, and procurement teams, to drive alignment and results. /li liCreate and maintain clear and thorough documentation to ensure transparency and ongoing knowledge management.



/li liSupport and drive implementation of integral SAM technology standards, processes, controls, reporting, and monitor agreed performance indicators and control metrics. /li liTrack and manage workload effectively, ensuring deadlines and targets are consistently met. /li liContinuously improve SAM by leveraging AI capabilities to reduce manual effort, able to identify recurring patterns and spot optimization opportunities. /li liUphold healthy and clean code structures, adhering to best practices and standards. /li /ul h3What Makes You a Great Fit /h3 ul liPossess a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a technical capacity, demonstrating expertise and proven results. /li liStrong knowledge of Software Asset Management and licensing concepts. /li liDemonstrated hands‑on experience with SAM platforms such as Flexera. (ServiceNOW CMDB is a plus). /li liPossess deep expertise in SQL, supporting advanced data manipulation and analysis. (Databricks is a plus). /li liUtilize and integrate common APIs to support platform interoperability. /li liExhibit proficiency in Python coding, enabling automation and process enhancement. /li liManaged ETL processes, data warehousing, and data quality assurance.



/li liFamiliarity and administration skills for Windows, Unix/Linux and virtualization platforms. /li liExceptional analytical skills using business intelligence platforms.
