You will be responsible for hunting down bugs in our codebase, implementing clean fixes, and handling critical data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks to ensure our customers have a seamless experience. /ppAre you ready for the challenge? /ph3About The Role /h3pAs a Technical Support Data Operations Engineer, you’ll bridge the gap between our Customer Experience and Core Engineering teams. Your primary mission is product stability: diagnosing, troubleshooting, and fixing bugs directly in our codebase (Ruby, Python and Java). /ppWhen the bug queue is clear, you will pivot to our data vanguard—ensuring customer data integrations, legacy migrations, and precision data entry are executed flawlessly. You’ll work with sensitive information, ensuring data integrity while actively looking for ways to automate repetitive data tasks so they never have to be done manually again. /ph3What will you be doing? /h3ulliBug Hunting Fixing: Dive deep into Factorial's codebase to diagnose, troubleshoot, and deploy code fixes for customer-reported issues. /liliCode Maintenance: Write clean and maintainable code in Ruby on Rails and TypeScript, using Python for scripts and handling existing internal Java data tooling when required. /liliData Operations Entry: When the platform is running smoothly, manage the accurate input of text, numerical data, and customer configurations where automated solutions are not yet available. /liliETL Workflows Migrations: Design and execute data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) customer data from legacy systems into our SaaS platform. /liliAutomation Innovation:



Identify patterns in recurring bugs or manual data entry tasks and build automated scripts or low-code tooling to eliminate them. /liliSecurity Discretion: Handle sensitive and confidential HR/customer payroll data with the highest level of discretion and security. /liliCollaboration: Act as the technical backbone for internal customer-facing teams, translating complex technical issues into clear updates. /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience. /lili1-2+ years of professional experience writing and debugging Ruby 1-2+ years of professional experience working with TypeScript /liliSolid proficiency with Python for scripting, data manipulation, or automation. /liliFamiliarity with or willingness to touch Java for specific internal data processing tools. /liliStrong debugging skills—you love reading other people's code, finding the root cause of a failure, and fixing it stack-wide. /liliExperience or strong comfort level with data migration, ETL processes, or handling large datasets. /liliMust have experience working with REST API endpoints. /liliFamiliarity with database queries (SQL) and GraphQL. /liliYou’re proactive, structured, and completely comfortable wearing two hats: a developer hat and an operational data hat. /liliC1 to Native level of Spanish (written and spoken) for regional collaboration. /liliB2 level English (for internal general communications). /li /ulpWanna learn more about us? /ppCheck our website! /ph3About Factorial /h3pAt Factorial,
