Data drives our decisions and enables us to optimize performance across all acquisition channels. /p pbAbout the role /b /p pThis is a senior software engineering role building large-scale systems on top of Wordpress. You'll be hands-on in the codebase while setting technical direction for the team and translating business needs into clear, executable plans. While Wordpress is the foundation, most day-to-day work happens in a codebase built around modern object-oriented PHP. /p pbWhat you'll do /b /p ul liDesign and build scalable solutions on top of Wordpress - custom plugins on different layers, complex integrations, content management at scale. /li liBuild shared systems that support many WP sites with different requirements. /li liPlan for platform growth by designing systems that accommodate increased traffic, newly emerging business needs, and changing regulatory requirements. /li liTranslate business needs into technical implementation plans and priorities. /li liWork with the team to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex features. /li liGuide developers day-to-day, answering technical questions and unblocking the team. /li liImprove performance, scalability, and reliability. /li liIdentify and remove technical debt and performance bottlenecks. /li /ul pbWhat we’re looking for /b /p ul liSenior/architect-level PHP 8+ experience - must be able to design systems and write the code.
