As a Pavement Engineer, you support design, investigations and lifecycle analysis for pavements across highways, airfields, and civil sites. You’ll work within the Linear Infrastructure group on multidisciplinary projects for public and private clients, contributing to feasibility through construction support. The role emphasizes collaboration with geotechnical, highways, drainage, and structures teams to deliver cost-effective, durable pavement solutions. You’ll engage in data interpretation, modelling, and QA/QC, with opportunities to grow through mentorship and regional project exposure. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape resilient infrastructure across multiple regions.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Support design inputs for flexible, rigid, and composite pavements across highways, airfields, and civil sites (analysis, reports, drawings, BoQs, specifications)
• Assist pavement investigations and condition assessments (data interpretation, surveys, materials testing review, deterioration analysis)
• Contribute to rehabilitation and life-cycle cost evaluations and treatment prioritization
• Prepare and check CAD deliverables and design models with CAD/digital teams
• Support tender documentation, method statements,
and technical responses during construction
• Collaborate with geotechnical, highways, drainage, structures, traffic, and construction teams
• Maintain QA/QC, safety, and document control practices
• Present analyses and recommendations in client meetings/workshops
• Assist with project programming, scope/schedule updates, and small work packages under senior guidance
• Assist data management (survey datasets, GIS layers, lab results) and develop digital templates/workflows
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 2-5 years' experience in pavement design, investigation, or rehabilitation planning
• Knowledge of standards in at least one xqbhyrx geography (Austroads, UK DMRB/MCHW, AASHTO/ME, FAA)
• Understanding of pavement design principles (ME concepts, traffic, materials, subgrade, drainage)
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic CAD (AutoCAD/Civil 3D)
• Strong analytical and written communication skills
• Collaborative mindset and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
