ph3About this opportunity /h3pThe Power Delivery Assurance Manager provides independent oversight of power delivery activities across multiple data centre projects during construction. The role focuses on improving visibility of power delivery status, identifying risks early, and supporting the timely achievement of project milestones. /ppbResponsibilities include but are not limited to: /b /pulliDelivering high-quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet Customers’ requirements. /liliReviewing power delivery plans, schedules, and progress updates across the portfolio. /liliMaintaining a project inventory covering utility providers, required infrastructure, key milestones, and delivery dates. /liliIdentifying projects requiring enhanced oversight based on complexity, schedule concerns, or delivery performance. /liliVerifying that key power delivery activities, including utility works, permitting, substations, energisation, and commissioning, are accurately reflected in project schedules. /liliAssessing progress against agreed milestones and contractual commitments. /liliChallenging delivery assumptions, schedule logic, and reported progress where supporting evidence is limited. /liliIdentifying, assessing, and documenting power delivery risks that could impact project delivery dates. /liliMonitoring utility, permitting, design, procurement, and energisation activities using information provided by the responsible stakeholders. /liliPreparing regular reports highlighting project status, emerging risks, and recommended mitigation actions. /liliEscalating material issues to project teams, regional leads and Energy stakeholders as required. /liliParticipating in project reviews, schedule workshops, risk reviews, and power status meetings.
/liliAttending lessor-led meetings where additional visibility of progress and risks is required. /liliReviewing lessor progress against agreed power delivery commitments. /liliHighlighting concerns where utility, permitting, procurement, or energisation activities are trending behind plan. /liliSupporting the development of mitigation and recovery plans where risks are identified. /liliAdvising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects; in particular, those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance. /li /ulpbAs a Gleeds team member, you will have access to: /b /pulliOpportunities to develop and grow your career /liliEmployee Assistance Programme /li /ulpbWho we’re looking for: /b /ppbExperience, Knowledge and Key Skills /b /pulliRelevant experience in power delivery, utilities, or electrical infrastructure on large-scale construction projects, preferably data centres. /liliProven ability to review schedules, identify risks, and provide independent oversight of delivery progress. /liliStrong skills in milestone tracking, risk reporting, and challenging assumptions with limited supporting evidence. /liliGood understanding of utility coordination, permitting processes, energisation, and commissioning activities.
