ppWe are actively looking for a Satellite Operations Engineer to lead and coordinate FOSSA Satellite Operations department, contributing to the day to day operations of FOSSA Systems satellite fleet. /p pWe are searching for individuals who know how to work in dynamic, young and agile teams supervising people and coordinating with other technical disciplines. /p pYou will be able to participate in the different steps of the development cycle for all our internal hardware developments in ground, space and user segments. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liCoordinate and execute the development of real time, mission critical software solutions for satellite operations. /li liDay to day running and coordination of the Operations team. /li liDrive improvements to fleet capacity and productivity through process enhancements /li liReporting to the CTO and flight segment responsible /li /ul h3Profile /h3 ul li3+ years of relevant experience /li liDegree in Aerospace Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Computer Science or similar /li liProficiency in software development, particularly in Python or similar languages /li liFamiliarity with LINUX environments /li liBasic understanding of conceptual telecommunications concepts related to space and IoT (Polarization, Doppler, Link Budgets, etc.) /li liFamiliarity with satellite and IoT communication protocols such as CSP, MQTT, LoRaWAN, and NTN NB IoT /li liExperience in working with databases,
