ph3Location /h3 pVANDELLOS I L'HOSPITALET DE L', ES /p h3About The Role /h3 pAs an EHS Engineer, you will support the Health Safety (HS) system and lead activities related to HS and Radiological Protection across Westinghouse sites and nuclear power plants. You will report to the Spain EHS Manager and be located at Hospitalet L´Infant. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liSafety inspections and risk assessments assistance. /li liDeveloping and implementing policies and practices to identify and mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace. /li liParticipate in compliance assurance and EMS auditing programs and conduct routine informal facility inspections and sampling to monitor compliance on a real‑time basis. /li liInvestigate accidents and environmental incidents and liaise with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes and prevent recurrence. /li liAssist in planning and execution of training courses; provide advice and training on safety protocols and conduct audits to ensure compliance with organizational and government standards related to environmental and employee health and safety. /li liDraft documents for worker access to customer facilities (HS plans, staff individual accreditations, training evidence, Personal Protection Equipment distribution). /li liCoordinate multiple employer sites. /li liMonitor and supervise radiological protection (exposed workers’ dose management).



/li liSupport administrative issues related to other areas of EHS. /li /ul pParticipate in HS RP ‘In‑Field’ supervision in nuclear plants ‘In Service’ inspections: /p ul liAssist in the elaboration of HS plans (hazard assessments and safety measures proposal) and ALARA plans. /li liSupervise ‘in‑field’ works during outages, nuclear plant accident investigations, dose monitoring, hygienic assessments, radiological protection and transport, equipment, auxiliary means and tools safety conditions inspections, special hazardous activities planning and supervision. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related Sciences. /li liMaster’s in Occupational Health Safety (OHS). /li liSpanish speaker and English B2 level. /li li5+ years of in‑field experience in HS and radiation protection within nuclear plants. /li liIonizing radiation–exposed employee. /li liWorks with a medium level of autonomy and supervision; fully oriented to internal and external customers. /li /ul pEmployment opportunities may require access to information subject to U.S. export control regulations.
