As a Big Data Architect, you shape the future state of our data platform within the Data Engineering Team, partnering with senior architects and engineers. You assess current platforms, design scalable data architectures, and drive governance and data quality. You’ll balance technical leadership with collaboration across stakeholders to size effort and guide implementation. This role offers impact through defining data systems that power decision making in a fast-paced iGaming environment.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Assess current data platform and define future state with the BDE team lead
• Perform gap analysis and drive implementation with cross-functional stakeholders
• Stay abreast of leading Big Data technologies and communicate trends
• Ensure coding standards, data accuracy, validity, and reusability
• Maintain excellent SQL skills and familiarity with relational and columnar databases
• Collaborate with stakeholders for research and effort sizing; support refinement sessions
• Draft work plans that are inclusive and reduce silos
• Contribute to project planning and peer reviews
Responsabilidades
• Data modeling and schema design
• Experience designing data warehouses, data lakes, and data schemas
• Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL)
• Strong ETL/ELT tools, data integration, and data pipelines
• Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and metadata management
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, xqbhyrx Azure, GCP) and streaming technologies
• Understanding of data flows, lifecycle, and enterprise data frameworks
• Knowledge of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance
• Ability to design secure architectures and implement data protection strategies
