This role is key to ensuring the efficient sourcing and management of critical raw material categories, supporting business continuity, cost optimization, and innovation across our international operations. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage strategic sourcing activities across key raw material categories. /li liOwn budget control and cost management, driving and delivering cost‑saving initiatives aligned with company targets. /li liLead supplier management, contract negotiation, long‑term partnership development with global suppliers and performance evaluation. Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers worldwide, ensuring competitiveness, reliability, and risk mitigation. /li liCollaborate closely with the RD team to source materials required for new formulations, ensuring availability and compliance with technical specifications. /li liCoordinate and execute the RFQ process (weekly, monthly, quarterly), analyze market offers, and support sourcing decisions. /li liWork cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, RD, Operations, and Finance, ensuring alignment with business needs and priorities. /li liManage critical supply situations at a global level, requiring agility, responsiveness, and strong decision‑making. /li liTravel frequently (20-40%) to production plants (Spain and internationally) and supplier facilities. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in Engineering, Chemistry,



Business Administration or a related field, with the technical aptitude to understand specifications and industrial processes. /li li2 – 5 years proven experience in procurement, sourcing or technical buying in an industrial or civil works environments. /li liExperience managing strategic sourcing activities across key direct material categories, with exposure to commodity‑driven and market‑indexed categories such as chemicals, petroleum‑derived products, metals, packaging‑related supplies, and other business‑critical industrial inputs. /li liStrong analytical and negotiation skills. /li liAbility to work in a global, cross‑functional environment. /li liHigh level of English proficiency (C1) Spanish; other languages will be a plus. /li liAvailability and willingness to travel national and internationally on a frequent basis. /li /ul h3The profile we are looking for /h3 ul liHigh relational capacity and internal‑customer orientation; able to build trust quickly with suppliers and stakeholders. /li liComfortable operating in ambiguous environments with multiple interlocutors. /li liProactive in spotting opportunities and resolving problems – chases results rather than waiting for them. /li liStrong communication and interpersonal skills. /li liGenuine curiosity to understand industrial processes and business models. /li liAble to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
