ppAssociate Analyst or Analyst – Energy Natural Resources, Madrid /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pDesign and build quantitative models and apply econometric analysis to economic and financial data; collect market, industry, company, and competitor information; review, summarize and analyze industry trends; manage large data sets and develop code for complex analysis; contribute to auction design and/or simulation; develop pricing systems for infrastructure; analyze financial market data; create trial exhibits; draft memos, expert reports, and presentation materials; and participate in team meetings and conference calls. /p pThis is a team‑based, multi‑task environment that requires precision work, both qualitative and quantitative, often with tight deadlines. /p h3Opportunities /h3 ul liApply the technical skills and knowledge gained during graduate studies /li liConduct high‑powered economic research across a wide variety of industries /li liPerform and develop cutting‑edge economic analysis on complex real‑life issues /li liWrite research reports and prepare client presentations for senior staff and clients to help them make informed economic decisions /li liInfluence project strategy,



including the preparation and presentation of oral and written submissions /li liCollaborate with in‑house experts and outside academics /li liDevelop and strengthen both project and people management skills /li liOpportunity to develop and deliver internal training sessions /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liHold a BA/BSc and a Master’s or PhD in Economics or a related discipline with exceptional academic records. Profiling in microeconomics, industrial organization, econometrics, or finance is of particular interest, but strong analytic and empirical economists from any field are welcome. /li liEnjoy microeconomics and quantitative research /li liHave a good working knowledge of Excel, Stata, R, Python, or other statistical and analytical software.
