Working closely with finance partners and external auditors, you will strengthen balance sheet integrity and support timely, accurate reporting for the group. This is a great opportunity to make a tangible impact on financial control and reporting quality across multiple entities. /p h3What the role involves /h3 pGeneral Ledger Financial Control /p ul liOwn general ledger accounting for the relevant entities, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and in line with company policy and local requirements /li liLead the month-end close process, preparing journals and balance sheet reconciliations to support timely, accurate reporting and a strong control environment /li /ul pProcess Improvement /p ul liIdentify and embed improvements to accounting processes and controls, driving a more efficient and well-documented approach across the entities in scope /li /ul pReporting, Compliance Audit /p ul liDeliver monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting, ensuring accounting treatment aligns with local GAAP requirements and group reporting standards /li liPartner with external auditors and advisors to provide timely schedules, working papers,



and supporting documentation for statutory and year-end reporting /li /ul pBusiness Partnering /p ul liCollaborate with internal stakeholders and group finance to ensure accounting entries are complete, accurate, and any issues are resolved efficiently /li liChampion a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the wider finance function /li /ul h3What we are looking for /h3 ul liPart-qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), or equivalent progress toward qualification /li liPrevious experience in an Accountant or Management Accountant-style role, ideally with ownership of legal entities or country ledgers /li liStrong experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliations /li liA track record of implementing or improving financial processes and controls /li liExperience working with external auditors and third-party finance or accounting partners /li liAbility to prepare accurate reporting packs, schedules, and reconciliations to tight deadlines /li liStrong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a hands‑on, proactive mindset /li liConfidence working independently whilst collaborating effectively with wider finance and business teams /li liGood systems knowledge, including ERP or finance systems /li liStrong English communication skills, both written and verbal /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liGood understanding of local GAAP principles,
