ph3Role Overview /h3 pThe Mass Transit project department of BUEC requires a Bid Manager to support its expansion in the Mass transit market segment. The candidate will oversee proposing for each opportunity the right engineering solution, estimate associated risks, provide an optimized costing for the proposal in collaboration with the operations department and other stakeholders. /p pThis person will also support the elaboration of the technical and commercial bid documentation necessary to elaborate the tender proposal in support of the mass transit business developers. /p pThe successful candidate will also be asked to participate in technical and commercial meetings to define with the customer and other stakeholders the best solution or to present to the relevant stakeholders the proposed solution and its benefits. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liProposal Development: Oversees the entire proposal development process. This includes understanding the requirements of the RFI RFP, coordinating with various departments or teams within the organization, and ensuring that the proposal aligns with the client’s needs. /li liTeam Coordination: works with a cross‑functional team that may include subject matter experts, Business Developers, Product specialists, and others (support and installation…). Coordinates the efforts of these teams to ensure that the proposal is comprehensive, accurate, and meets all the requirements of RFPs. /li liRisk Assessment: Assesses the risks associated with the bid, considering factors such as technical feasibility, resource availability, Financial and cashflow and potential challenges.



Works to mitigate these risks and ensure that the bid is both competitive and feasible for the organization. /li liBudgeting and Pricing: Collaborates with finance and product teams to develop competitive pricing. /li liQuality Control: Responsible for the overall quality of the proposal. They review and edit content to ensure it is clear, compelling, and error‑free. They also ensure that the proposal adheres to the specified format and guidelines provided in the RFP. /li liSubmission: Manages the submission process with Business developers, ensuring that all required documents are prepared and submitted on time. /li liClient Communication: Involved with the client during the bidding process. This could include clarifying requirements, addressing queries, and ensuring a positive relationship with the client. /li liPost‑Submission Activities: After submission, Bid Manager may be involved in debriefings, analysing the outcomes, and identifying areas for improvement in future bids. /li liFor recurring customers and other activities, will take the lead on different transversal activities such as: /li liDefining Library structure for different customers for Framework agreement: standard documents used for recurrent opportunities. /li liWorking with Product teams and Business Development to define and highlight USPs of Gunnebo solutions.



/li liComprehensive costing models for Gunnebo offer and simplify the pricing. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liAbility to work in a multi‑cultural environment. /li liExperience with Matrix organisations. /li liFull knowledge of MS office pack and D‑365, proficiency in Word Excel PowerPoint required. /li liExperience in structuring an offer and in managing international bids ideally in the mass transit sector. /li liCapacity to drive and coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders. /li liCapacity to design optimal solutions considering ROI and limitations of each party. /li liHighly Structured and organized. /li liMulti‑tasking and ability to work under pressure. /li liCost and optimization conscious. /li liCapacity to establish accurate costing and risk assessment estimation. /li liFluent English speaker. /li liAutoCAD and rendering ability is desirable. /li liAdditional European languages (especially Spanish) is desirable. /li /ul h3Diversity Statement /h3 pGunnebo Entrance Control is an equal opportunity employer.
