To achieve this, we carry out rigorous selection processes that ensure it. /p pWe are looking for a bValue Improvement Engineer (mainly as Electrical or Instrument Engineer) /b, whose main function will be: /p ul liProvide support to project leaders, engineering and construction teams at the identification and implementation of cost (or schedule) reduction alternatives. /li liBenchmark design against historical performance, industry norms and client’s standard designs in order to provide alternative design that MEET but not EXCEED customer requirements. /li liFacilitate value workshops and identify and qualify opportunities for process enhancement. /li liManaging communications or workshops with Clients (if required) /li liPrepare multi-discipline conceptual and definitive cost reduction proposals for Capital Projects with assistance of project technical disciplines. /li liBreak down “silos”, improving communications and enable individuals to contribute to a team solution.



/li liProvide recommendations which would be incorporated in corporate specifications and standards for future. /li liTranslate the identified project scope and proposed alternatives into an estimate of capital expenditure costs for design, procurement and construction. /li liIdentify areas of uncertainty and apply appropriate allowances. /li liIn coordination with in-house department Estimation support team, collect presente and alternative cost performance. Condition and normalize data for future use, by developing metrics and benchmarking information. /li liKeep abreast of significant development in new technics and materials by close review of technical literature, contacts with contractors and attendance at professional and technical meetings. /li liUse of In-house procedure and Value Improvement database and ensure database is updated during the execution of the projects involved on. /li /ul h3Skills/Qualifications: /h3 ul li10-15 years of experience including at least 5 years devoted to petrochemical, refinery, chemical or power generation projects as senior specialist or project engineer. /li liExpertise: You have advanced industry expertise and a proven ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities. /li liBe familiar with construction practices, materials and equipment.
