ppWe are seeking an experienced bioinformatics professional to lead the Bioinformatics Unit at CRAG. /p pThe Head of Bioinformatics Unit will be responsible for coordinating and developing the institution's bioinformatics services, providing scientific and technical support to research groups, managing computational resources and contributing to the strategic development of data-intensive research activities. /p pThe successful candidate will play a key role in supporting genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics and multi-omics projects, while promoting best practices in data management, reproducibility and computational biology. /p h3KeyResponsibilities /h3 ul liLead the Bioinformatics Unit and supervise assigned personnel. /li liSupport CRAG researchers in the analysis and interpretation of omics data sets. /li liDevelop, implement and optimize bioinformatics pipelines and computational workflows. /li liCoordinate the use and evolution of bioinformatics computational infrastructure, including HPC resources. /li liContribute to institutional strategies related to bioinformatics, research data management and artificial intelligence. /li liProvide training activities and technical guidance to researchers and students. /li liSupport data submission to public repositories and promote FAIR data principles. /li liCollaborate in competitive funding applications and institutionals cientific initiatives. /li liEstablish collaborations with external bioinformatics platforms and infrastructures. /li liIdentify opportunities for service development, innovation and external income generation. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liPhD in LifeSciences or related disciplines. /li liBachelor's degree in mathematics will be considered an asset. /li liDemonstrated experience in omics data analysis and computational biology. /li liExperience managing bioinformatics services, scientific platforms or multidisciplinary technical teams. /li liExpertise in Linux environments,
