ppAs a Platform Engineering Director, you will lead the design, build, and evolution of Visium's client-facing AI and Data platform capabilities. You are the technical authority and delivery lead for our most complex platform programs — ensuring that what we build is technically excellent, adoptable, scalable, and genuinely transformative. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliArchitect and lead the delivery of complex AI and Data platform programs, spanning cloud infrastructure design, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC, from initial scoping through to production deployment. Our focus is on Azure. /liliDefine and drive platform engineering standards and best practices across engagements, ensuring repeatability, reliability, and long-term client value. /liliBuild and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C‑Level and VP Engineering personas, acting as a hands‑on technical advisor who earns trust through delivery. /liliLead and mentor a team of platform engineers and engagement managers, cultivating a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and ownership. /liliIdentify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts, partnering with the commercial team to expand Visium's platform footprint. /liliChampion an inspiring, outward-facing engineering culture, one that attracts strong talent and energizes clients with a clear and compelling vision for what great platform engineering looks like. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3pTo succeed in this role, you bring a combination of expertise, experience, and skills including: /pulliProven, hands‑on experience leading large‑scale platform engineering programs in AI and Data — you have built, shipped and operated production‑grade platforms, not just designed them.
