You will ensure the seamless creation and operation of the database platforms required by Sanofi's advanced data intensive initiatives for the betterment of our general patients and customers. A keen eye for improvement opportunities while continuing to fully comply with all data quality, security and governance standards. /p h3Main responsibilities: /h3 h3Technical Strategy Database Architecture /h3 ul liPlatform Leadership: Lead architecture, technical design, administration, security and evolution of database services, remaining up to date on company standards, industry practices and emerging technologies. /li liOptimized Module Design: Design and develop optimized modules meeting reliability, reusability, latency and performance requirements, while adapting those modules to optimize running costs. /li liDatabase Engineering Expertise: Provide highly-skilled development, industrialization and support of database platforms within a regulated environment, with strong experience in deployment of cloud databases, hosting platforms, storage and migration services such as AWS SCT and DMS, and strong experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL, and Oracle including Engineered systems. /li liTeam Technical Support: Support Data module engineers for designing optimized data models and database platform and services. /li /ul h3Automation Engineering Leadership /h3 ul liAutomation Tooling:



Drive strong experience in automation tools and methodologies specifically using GitLab, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Ansible, with experience in programming languages such as Python, JSON, YAML and Shell Scripting. /li liBackup Monitoring: Leverage experience with backup systems like Netbackup and CommVault and apply good knowledge of ServiceNow and monitoring tools such as Splunk and BPPM to ensure operational visibility and reliability. /li liCompliance Regulatory Adherence: Enforce compliance requirements of the solution with regards to GxP regulation, ensuring all database platforms and services meet applicable regulatory standards. /li liOperational Support: Ensure Level 3 support of the modules in operation, working in a transverse manner with Cloud and Data architects, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Development teams and External Partners. /li /ul h3Team Management Stakeholder Partnership /h3 ul liTeam Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Data Engineering Experts, articulating team direction and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment. /li liBusiness Partnership: Work with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical needs, supporting operations with the appropriate mindset oriented toward Operational Excellence. /li liPeople Development: Provide continuous support to help team members throughout their personal and professional development, including mentoring and technology evangelism and advocacy. /li /ul h3About you /h3 ul libExperience: /b10-15 years of managing a Data Engineering team, working with a variety of cross-functional teams, Good understanding of agile/scrum development processes and concepts, working in the life sciences/pharmaceutical industry is a plus, Working within compliance (e.g.: quality, regulatory – data privacy, GxP, SOX) and cybersecurity requirements is a plus. /li libSoft skills: /bAble to work in a fast-paced,
