ph3Job Purpose /h3pThe Specialist IC Engineer shall provide advanced engineering expertise for Instrumentation and Control systems during FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and PMC phases of ADNOC projects. The role is primarily engineering-focused with limited involvement in construction support activities. The engineer will be responsible for design review, engineering coordination, technical assurance, vendor management, and compliance with ADNOC standards, international codes, and project specifications. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliLead and review Instrumentation and Control engineering deliverables for oil gas projects. /liliReview and approval:ulliInstrument Index /liliI/O List /liliControl philosophies /liliCause Effect diagrams /liliInstrument datasheets /liliHook-up drawings /liliCable schedules /liliLoop drawings /liliJB schedules /liliControl system architecture drawings /li /ul /liliEnsure compliance with ADNOC standards, IEC, ISA, API, and international engineering practices. /liliReview FEED and Detailed Engineering deliverables prepared by EPC contractors. /liliParticipate in design development and technical clarification meetings. /liliSupport optimization of control systems, field instrumentation, and automation philosophies. /li /ulh3Control Systems Automation /h3ulliReview DCS, ESD, FG, SCADA, and PLC system engineering documents. /liliCoordinate with telecom, electrical, process, and mechanical disciplines for interface management. /liliReview system integration philosophies and control narratives. /liliEvaluate SIL classification studies, alarm management philosophy, and cybersecurity requirements where applicable. /liliReview FAT/SAT procedures and vendor technical documentation. /li /ulh3Vendor Package Engineering /h3ulliCoordinate with package vendors for instrumentation and control requirements. /liliReview vendor documents and ensure timely resolution of comments.
/liliSupport technical bid evaluations and vendor selection processes. /liliEnsure package compliance with project specifications and operational requirements. /li /ulh3PMC Project Coordination /h3ulliMonitor EPC contractor engineering progress and quality. /liliProvide technical guidance during engineering execution. /liliParticipate in HAZOP, SIL, constructability, and design review workshops. /liliCoordinate with ADNOC and PMC teams for engineering approvals and technical alignment. /liliSupport project schedule adherence and engineering milestone achievement. /li /ulh3Construction Site Support /h3ulliProvide engineering clarification and technical support to site teams when required. /liliReview technical queries, deviations, and site engineering issues. /liliSupport pre-commissioning and commissioning teams during system checks and startup activities if required. /liliOccasional site visits may be required for technical verification and coordination. /li /ulh3Minimum Qualifications Experience Required /h3ulliA bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil Gas or Petrochemical industry. /liliMust have at least five (5) years of experience in similar position in mega Oil Gas or Petrochemical projects. /liliADNOC Offshore project experience is preferred. /liliPMC experiences are preferrable. /liliExperience in FEED EPC Phases is required. /li /ulh3Technical Skills /h3ulliStrong knowledge of:ulliDCS / ESD / FG systems /liliSmart field instrumentation /liliSIL Functional Safety /liliControl system architecture /liliIndustrial communication protocols /liliInstrument sizing and selection /liliADNOC engineering specifications /li /ul /liliFamiliar with:ulliSPI / SmartPlant Instrumentation /liliAveva Engineering /liliAutoCAD /liliMS Office /li /ul /liliGood understanding of multidisciplinary engineering coordination /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
