This role will limit its scope to PPG procurement requirements in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Annual purchases managed by this position typically range from $50 MM to $120 MM depending on the portfolio. /p pYou will report into the Global Category Manager for Packaging. /p pLocation: Wrocław, Curie‑Skłodowskiej 12 /p pWork model: Hybrid (work from home 3 days per week) /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop strategic sourcing for your category in accordance with the approved strategy and objectives defined by the Global Category Manager. /li liDevelop market intelligence and a deep knowledge of the local and general business environment to identify risks and opportunities. /li liUse market insight, adapt tactical action plans to mitigate identified risks and maximize opportunities and value for PPG in your region. /li liEstablish accurate forecasts of market movements and explain fluctuations in forecasts with stakeholders. /li liAccelerate the pace of cost savings and innovation for the category through connections with both internal stakeholders and suppliers within your region. /li liDeliver the targeted regional value capture savings for the category managed.



/li liAchieve target working capital goals, including consignment and payment terms. /li liBuild strong relationships with key suppliers and business stakeholders within the EMEA region. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul li3+ years of experience in Procurement. /li liStrong negotiation skills. /li liStrategic vision (act with a long‑term perspective). /li liProject management (plan and organize). /li liData analysis and proficiency with IT and e‑tools. /li liChange management capabilities. /li liKnowledge and ability to assess the chemical market (understand market and customer perspective). /li liResponsiveness to and understanding of internal customer needs. /li /ul h3How we work /h3 pAt PPG, we bring teams together to accelerate collaboration and career development, with in‑person work Monday through Thursday and the opportunity to work remotely on Flexible Fridays.
