Experteer Overview
In this role you will oversee capex, cost control and financial management for data centre projects, ensuring delivery within approved budgets. You will collaborate with project teams, finance and stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates, monitor expenditures, and provide cost-optimisation recommendations. The position combines technical cost planning with cross-functional collaboration to support landmark data centre initiatives. • Establish and update project budgets with stakeholders
• Develop capex estimates and BoQ; review pricing documents
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options
• Monitor expenses to align with budgets and forecasted costs
• Conduct financial analysis, risk assessments, and reporting for clients and stakeholders
• Support procurement in bids, tender clarifications and cost normalization reports
• Negotiate pricing with vendors and manage contract-related cost optimization




• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cost considerations into planning
• Develop integral cost planning guidelines and standardised estimating methods
• Drive continuous improvement in cost management processes

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Building Engineering, Quantity Surveying or MEP Engineering
• Minimum 3 years in a consultancy or general contracting role
• Excellent knowledge of construction supply chain
• Experience with FIDIC contracts is advantageous
• Strong English written skills and cost benchmark capability
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Team player with remote stakeholders experience
• Strong numerical, commercial and financial acumen
