ph3Job Purpose /h3 pThe Sourcing Manager for Indirect Procurement located in Madrid is responsible for managing a portfolio of indirect categories and strategic suppliers across regions and business units. /p pThe role designs, develops, and executes category strategies aligned with Straumann Group’s business objectives, business needs, sustainability framework, and procurement transformation roadmap. /p pThe Sourcing Manager drives value creation through cost optimization, risk mitigation, supplier performance management, and increased spend under management. The role operates in a integral matrix environment, partnering closely with Business Units, Corporate Functions, and Regional stakeholders. /p h3Main Tasks and Responsibilities: /h3 ul liManage under the lead of Category Manager and Category Manager Director a portfolio of selected Indirect categories (e.g., Corporate Services, Company Cars, Professional Services, Facilities Management, etc.). /li liDevelop Procurement category strategies, that are aligned with the overall business strategy and sustainable framework of the Straumann group: ensure the execution of sourcing projects that are integrated, cross-functionally executed and aligned with Straumann business stakeholders. /li liEvaluate supply risk and formulate mitigations to ensure continuity of product supply to the operations. /li liAnalyze supplier markets and provide recommendations that translate into actionable strategies and forward-looking analysis. Develop expertise, maintain market intelligence and stays abreast of the changing supply base and new technologies.



/li liLead and drive sourcing projects and achieve targets: /li /ul ul liLead efforts that drive cost optimization, improve quality, service and enhanced innovation through strategic sourcing, supplier relationship and risk management. /li liIdentify saving opportunities and manage a pipeline (regional, global, cross business unit) of sourcing projects and initiatives /li liDefine and execute strategic sourcing initiatives: through the use of the digital tools in place, lead supplier selection and negotiation through the RFP process, in collaboration with the different Straumann business units and corporate functions. /li liManage supplier performance. Define and execute a yearly communication plan with critical / strategic suppliers. /li liEnsure proper implementation, track and monitor performance including on ESG aspects. /li /ul h3Profile: /h3 ul liPreferred eduction: Master, MBA academic degree in Business, Economics, or Engineering /li liProfessional certification: CPSM or CIPS desired /li liLangage: English (excellent written and spoken), German is advantageous. /li /ul h3Experience: /h3 ul liMinimum 5–7 years in Strategic Procurement / Category Management within Indirect categories.
