ph3About the Opportunity /h3pOur client, a leading general company in the automotive industry, is seeking an experienced bProgram Recovery Supplier Task Force Manager /b to be permanently based at a critical supplier facility in Barcelona. /ppThis role will act as an extension of the client's organization on-site, serving as the primary interface between the company and the supplier while ensuring full project visibility, operational control, recovery execution, financial governance, and risk mitigation. /ppThe successful candidate will be responsible for driving project recovery initiatives, validating supplier performance, monitoring production activities, assessing operational and financial risks, and ensuring the successful delivery of strategic manufacturing programs impacting business-critical operations. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3h3Supplier Performance Operational Assessment /h3ulliAct as the main interface between the client and the assigned supplier. /liliConduct comprehensive supplier assessments to validate actual project status against reported progress. /liliPerform regular on-site audits of manufacturing operations and shop floor activities. /liliReview engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and commissioning activities. /liliAssess supplier organizational structure, governance processes, and project management maturity. /liliMonitor production performance and ensure alignment with project objectives and delivery commitments. /liliIdentify operational deviations, bottlenecks, process inefficiencies, resource constraints, and execution risks. /li /ulh3Project Recovery Execution Management /h3ulliEstablish realistic project baselines and develop executable recovery plans when required. /liliChallenge supplier schedules, assumptions, and delivery commitments to ensure achievable execution plans. /liliDefine recovery actions, milestones, responsibilities, deadlines, and success criteria. /liliMonitor critical paths, dependencies, and project risks. /liliImplement daily and weekly project review routines. /liliEscalate deviations and risks proactively while driving accountability across supplier teams. /liliEnsure project milestones, deliverables, and program objectives are achieved on time. /li /ulh3Root Cause Analysis Continuous Improvement /h3ulliLead root cause investigations related to delays, quality concerns, supply issues, and operational inefficiencies. /liliDevelop corrective and preventive action plans. /liliDrive implementation and follow-up of improvement initiatives. /liliFoster a culture of operational excellence, focusing on quality, delivery, cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.



/liliApply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies to improve supplier performance. /li /ulh3Procurement Supply Chain Assessment /h3ulliReview supplier procurement activities, purchase orders, and sourcing strategies. /liliAssess material availability, shortages, long lead-time components, and supplier commitments. /liliEvaluate supply chain risks, including risks associated with sub-suppliers. /liliEnsure critical materials and components are secured and aligned with project schedules. /liliIdentify and mitigate supply chain constraints that may impact project execution. /li /ulh3Resource Capacity Validation /h3ulliAssess supplier engineering, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and project management resources. /liliValidate production capacity and capability to execute current and future program requirements. /liliEvaluate subcontracting strategies and external resource utilization. /liliIdentify capability gaps and define corrective actions necessary to achieve project objectives. /li /ulh3Financial Governance Risk Control /h3ulliReview progress against project milestones to support payment validation processes. /liliVerify completion of agreed deliverables before recommending payment approvals. /liliMonitor the effective use of funds allocated to project execution activities. /liliAssess project financial exposure and execution risks. /liliSupport decision-making regarding payment releases, recovery investments, and risk mitigation actions. /li /ulh3Supplier Financial Assessment /h3ulliEvaluate supplier financial health and business continuity risks. /liliAnalyze liquidity constraints, cash-flow risks, and funding requirements impacting project delivery. /liliAssess working capital requirements and financing arrangements where relevant. /liliMonitor financial recovery actions and their impact on project performance. /liliProvide recommendations regarding supplier solvency and long-term capability to deliver commitments. /li /ulh3Stakeholder Executive Reporting /h3ulliTrack project KPIs, operational metrics, risks, and recovery progress. /liliPrepare daily operational updates and weekly recovery status reports. /liliDevelop executive dashboards and management reports. /liliPresent project risks, financial exposure, recovery progress,



and mitigation plans to senior leadership. /liliProvide recommendations regarding escalation actions, recovery strategies, and Go/No-Go decisions. /li /ulh3Required Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. /liliProven experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Supplier Development Engineer, Supplier Program Manager, Project Recovery Manager, or similar role within the automotive or manufacturing industry. /liliStrong experience working directly with suppliers in manufacturing environments. /liliDemonstrated experience managing project recovery and turnaround initiatives. /liliStrong understanding of production systems, industrial operations, supply chain management, and program management methodologies. /liliExperience identifying operational risks and implementing corrective and preventive actions. /liliExcellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills. /liliAbility to work independently in fast-paced international environments. /liliWillingness to be permanently based on-site at supplier locations when business needs require it. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliExperience within Tier 1 Automotive Suppliers or OEM environments. /liliKnowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and automotive quality standards. /liliCertification or practical experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or equivalent methodologies. /liliExperience managing supplier performance through KPIs and operational metrics. /liliExperience leading supplier recovery, distressed supplier management, or critical project intervention programs. /liliFamiliarity with procurement processes, supplier financial assessments, and project financial governance. /li /ulh3Languages /h3ulliFluent English (mandatory). /liliSpanish (highly desirable). /liliPortuguese (considered a strong advantage). /li /ulh3What We Are Looking For /h3ulliA proactive, resilient, and results-oriented professional. /liliStrong leadership and influencing skills. /liliExceptional organizational and planning capabilities. /liliAbility to challenge and drive accountability across supplier and internal teams. /liliStrong relationship management and stakeholder engagement capabilities. /liliHands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset. /liliAbility to operate effectively in complex, high-pressure recovery situations. /liliStrong business acumen combined with operational and financial awareness. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
