ppAs a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of Prism products and supporting infrastructure in Azure. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll design and optimize platform services, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes for enterprise‑grade applications. /p pThis person should be a can‑do, high‑achieving individual with strong product and domain expertise, who thrives on collaboration and has experience building secure, resilient cloud infrastructure. You’ll champion engineering excellence and automation, foster best practices, and bring a genuine passion for technology and continuous improvement to everything you do. /p pbLocation: /b Madrid, Spain. /p h3Your responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and maintain Azure infrastructure using the appropriate tooling required. /li liDesign and configure CI/CD pipelines, containers, virtual networks, and monitoring dashboards. /li liImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for multi‑tenant setups in Azure. /li liOptimize performance and cost of Azure resources. /li liApply governance policies (Azure AD, security, networking). /li liCollaborate with development, QA, and Product teams to ensure quality and timely delivery. /li liContribute to evolving scalable, secure, observable architectures (APIs, microservices, event‑driven). /li liEmbed DevSecOps and SRE principles into platform engineering practices (SLOs, error budgets, incident management). /li liDrive continuous improvement using metrics‑led approaches (e.g., DORA). /li liDemonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills. /li liChange leadership—drives adoption of new ways of working, collaboration, continuous improvement with high levels of trust and autonomy. /li liExcellent communication and influencing skills, including the capability and gravitas to operate execs, engineers, and regulators/auditors.
/li liClient/Customer‑centric mindset; measurable impact on revenue, activation, retention, and cost‑to‑serve. /li liAbility to create a positive and collaborative climate in which people want to do their best by providing appropriate challenge, support and direction. /li li8+ years of experience in delivering fast paced and agile system Engineering ideally in regulated FinTech or payments/banking/wealth. /li liMentored engineering teams of 10+ across multiple parallel product lines, guiding developers working within microservices architectures and Cloud‑native environments (AWS/Azure/GCP). /li liEngineering excellence leader with deep SDLC mastery with a pragmatic implementation approach to architecture, platform and tooling. /li liEmbedded DevSecOps and automated policy and quality controls in delivery pipelines, ideally with Azure DevOps. /li liExtensive change management experience and evidential metrics‑based delivery capability. /li liStandardised logging/metrics/tracing (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana); built comprehensive dashboards and runbooks. /li liOwned Service reliability: SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, chaos experiments, game days, incident command. /li /ul h3Nice to haves‑to‑Haves /h3 ul liMortgage origination and servicing, Payments, core banking, or lending domain expertise. /li liProduction experience with Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform), service meshes, and GitOps (Argo CD/Flux). /li liNavigated PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR; partnered with Risk/Compliance and auditors and delivered audit‑ready evidence. /li /ul h3Success Metrics (what you will be measured on)
