You'll help build and evolve modern observability platforms that provide visibility into complex distributed systems. You'll work on instrumentation, monitoring, metrics, logging, and data pipelines that enable engineering teams and business stakeholders to make better decisions based on reliable operational data. /ph3What you'll do /h3ulliDesign and implement observability solutions using Datadog and OpenTelemetry. /liliInstrument applications to collect technical and business metrics. /liliBuild dashboards and monitoring solutions that provide actionable insights for engineering and business teams. /liliDefine and implement KPIs, SLIs and SLOs in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders. /liliDesign structured logging strategies and metrics collection pipelines. /liliAnalyze logs, traces and metrics to improve system reliability and performance. /liliDevelop and maintain ETL processes for observability and operational data when required. /liliWork closely with software engineers to improve application instrumentation across Python, Java and TypeScript services. /liliHelp evolve our cloud monitoring capabilities on AWS. /liliPromote observability best practices across projects. /li /ulh3What we're looking for /h3ulli4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Platform Engineer, Observability Engineer or similar role.
