ppbTravel: /b Spain and wider Mediterranean as required /p h3The Opportunity /h3 pAn established superyacht finishing specialist is expanding its presence in Spain and is looking for a Project Manager to support the delivery of major paint refit and repair projects. /p pThe company has operated within the superyacht market for approximately 20 years and is now entering a significant growth phase, developing new regional operations and securing projects directly with leading yachts, shipyards and owner representatives. /p pThe successful candidate will initially support the Senior Project Manager on large superyacht projects in Spain, with the opportunity to take increasing ownership of projects as the Spanish operation develops. /p pThis is a site-based role for a proactive Project Manager who can bring structure, pace and accountability to complex refit programmes. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage the planning and delivery of superyacht paint refit and repair projects. /li liCoordinate project schedules, labour, subcontractors, materials and equipment. /li liMonitor progress against agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards. /li liKeep projects moving by identifying delays, risks and operational issues early. /li liLiaise with captains, owners' representatives, shipyard project managers, paint manufacturers and subcontractors. /li liBuild strong working relationships with clients and project stakeholders. /li liLead and motivate on-site teams, maintaining productivity and accountability. /li liManage project variations, reporting and commercial documentation. /li liMonitor environmental and application conditions in line with manufacturer requirements. /li liSupport quality-control inspections,



snagging and final project sign-off. /li liProvide regular project updates to senior management. /li liTravel to other European project locations when required. /li /ul h3Candidate Profile /h3 pThe idóneo candidate will be an experienced Project Manager from a superyacht, shipyard, marine refit or similarly complex technical-project environment. /p pStrong project management capability is more important than being a paint specialist. Paint, coatings or finishing experience would be advantageous, but the company can provide industry-specific support to someone with the right management background and approach. /p pYou should be confident taking ownership, making decisions and driving projects forward without needing constant direction. /p ul liProven experience managing complex technical, marine or shipyard projects. /li liStrong planning, scheduling and organisational skills. /li liExperience coordinating multiple contractors, teams and stakeholders. /li liConfident communication with clients, captains, owners' representatives and senior management. /li liAbility to manage project risks, variations, deadlines and operational challenges. /li liStrong leadership skills and a proactive, self-starting approach. /li liAbility to remain organised and composed in a fast-moving refit environment.



/li liProfessional Spanish and English communication skills. /li liLegal right to live and work in Spain or the European Union. /li liWillingness to travel when projects require it. /li liShipyard project management experience. /li liPaint, coatings or yacht-finishing knowledge. /li liExperience managing projects involving yachts over 80 metres. /li liFamiliarity with paint-manufacturer specifications, environmental controls and quality procedures. /li liExisting knowledge of the Spanish or Mediterranean superyacht market. /li /ul h3Location and Travel /h3 pThe role will be based primarily in the bValencia / Sagunto area /b, supporting the development of the company's Spanish operation. /p pSome travel may be required for projects elsewhere in Spain and across the Mediterranean.
