THEKER builds physical robots. That means a continuous flow of electronic components, mechanical parts, sensors, cables, and custom hardware, often with tight timelines and no room for supply failure. Right now, purchasing is distributed across the engineering team. Your job is to change that. You will create structure: qualify and manage suppliers, drive cost discipline, reduce lead times, and ensure the right components are available when the engineering and integration teams need them. You will work directly with Mechanical, Electronics, and Robotics Integration engineers on sourcing decisions, BOM management, and component availability, becoming the operational backbone of everything we build. /p /brh3What We’re Looking For /h3 /brul /brliDegree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. /li /brliPrevious experience as a buyer, category buyer, or procurement specialist,



ideally in automotive, industrial, or electronics/hardware manufacturing. /li /brliA track record of negotiated, quantified cost-down (percentage or absolute savings), not just process management. /li /brliExperience managing supplier relationships, running RFQs, and handling purchase orders end to end. /li /brliStrong attention to detail on pricing, lead times, and quality. /li /brliComfortable working in a fast-moving environment with incomplete information and shifting priorities. /li /brliFluent Spanish and English. /li /brliBased in Barcelona or willing to relocate (100% on-site role). /li /br /ul /brh3Nice to have /h3 /brul /brliExperience in robotics, industrial automation, electronics manufacturing, or deep tech. /li /brliFamiliarity with ERP or procurement tools (SAP, Odoo, or similar). /li /brliExperience sourcing electronic components or custom mechanical parts. /li /brliKnowledge of incoterms, customs processes, and international purchasing. /li /brliAdditional languages relevant to sourcing regions, such as Mandarin, German, or French. /li /br /ul /brh3You’ll thrive at THEKER if /h3 /brul /brliYou're excited by a fast-paced and ambitious environment.
