ppTradition is a leading interdealer broking arm of Compagnie Financière Tradition, operating in over 28 countries with more than 2,500 employees. /p pWe are seeking a Linux Engineer to be based in our Madrid office. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liRunning, monitoring and improving the Linux-based platforms underpinning our systems. /li liAutomating wherever possible – writing scripts, building tools, improving workflows. /li liSupporting hypervisors, storage, and networking alongside the core Linux estate. /li liWorking with developers, support teams and business users to solve problems quickly and effectively. /li liContributing to infrastructure projects, from design to deployment. /li liFollowing operational and regulatory guidelines to keep systems compliant and secure. /li liHybrid working policy with occasional weekend cover (approx. once a month, mostly on Saturdays). /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liSolid scripting and automation experience (Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet or similar). /li liKnowledge of infrastructure as code principles. /li liGood networking fundamentals (protocols,
