In this role you will lead the design and evolution of a finance data platform, focusing on reliable reconciliation between SAP data and the data lake, and delivering high-quality financial reporting. You will partner with engineering and Finance stakeholders to build a scalable, performant data platform with strong auditability. This senior role emphasizes technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration to improve data quality and platform efficiency. Your work will enable accurate financial insights and robust reporting at scale.

Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Provide strategic and technical leadership for finance data domains, driving data quality improvements and platform efficiency
• Own end-to-end SAP financial data integration (FI/CO, MM, PTP) into the data lake and design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and near-real-time data
• Design and optimize the enterprise data warehouse and data platform using Starburst, Iceberg, Microsoft Fabric, Looker to deliver reliable, high-performance reporting




• Establish data reconciliation frameworks, quality controls, and automated validation to ensure accurate line-level reconciliation between SAP and lakehouse data
• Lead automation initiatives including pipeline code generation and CI/CD enhancements via GitLab pipelines

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in scalable data solutions, preferably with finance data exposure
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or related field
• Strong SQL expertise, experience with dbt, relational xqbhyrx and columnar databases, and Python proficiency
• Experience with SAP financial data structures (FI/CO, MM, or similar) and data extraction
• Experience with modern data technologies (Starburst, Databricks, Snowflake or similar)
• Experience with Linux and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or similar)
• Strong English communication skills; interest in emerging technologies and continuous learning; Spanish a plus
• Ability to translate Finance requirements into robust technical solutions
