ppAt SEK Catalunya International School, we are looking for a PYP Teacher to join our Primary team in a permanent position starting in August 2026. /p h3Mission /h3 pEmpowering students to become proficient communicators, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners through the exploration of inquiry-based learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and general-mindedness. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and implement teaching plans for the transdisciplinary and disciplinary units. /li liAttend department meetings and participate in collaborative planning sessions. /li liTake part in standardizing assessment tasks. /li liContribute to curriculum research and improvement.Stay updated on the PYP Scope and Sequence. /li liCommunicate students' progress to parents. /li liAttend school activities such as festivals and Open Days. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's Degree in Primary Education or equivalent teaching qualification. /li liPrevious teaching experience, preferably within the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). /li liNative English speaker or native speaker level. /li liSpanish and/or Catalan will be valued. /li liMicrosoft Office user. /li liExperience with educational platforms to enhance classroom dynamics and support collaboration with the teaching team will be appreciated. /li /ul h3Pedagogical Competencies /h3 ul liPlan effective classes and teaching sequences.
