ph3WHO ARE WE? /h3 pSateliot is a Barcelona-based Startup in the New Space sector, becoming the first satellite telecommunications operator that will provide integral and continuous connectivity to all the elements that will make up the massive Internet of Things (IoT) universe under the 5G protocol. In order to do so, Sateliot is launching a constellation of last generation nanosatellites, located at low altitude that act as mobile towers. Sateliot is the perfect complement for large telecommunications companies by providing them with the necessary infrastructure where terrestrial technologies do not arrive. /p h3YOUR MISSION /h3 pWe are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in the space industry, automation or a similar industry that is both linked to manufacturing and mechanical testing of complex systems at very high quality. The selected person will be joining a small MAIT (Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration, and Test) team as one of the first mechanical engineers within the company. The selected person will be responsible for designing mechanical Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for the satellite industry, leading the development of mechanical satellite test and metrology approaches for the project. This role requires hands‑on satellite systems experience and participation in test campaigns requiring both independent work and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate will be a versatile, independent problem‑solver with a passion for space exploration and technology. /p h3Your Main Functions /h3 ul liDesign mechanical jigs, interfaces and mechanisms for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to facilitate MAIT activities. /li liPrepare environmental test, measurement, alignment and verification procedures for a prototype satellite system. /li liEvaluate mechanical environmental test campaign results including vibration and thermal tests. /li liUtilize SolidWorks (or similar CAD tools) to create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings for developed systems. /li liPerform or collaborate on thermal, structural, vibration, and environmental testing of components to validate designs.

/li liWork closely with electrical engineers, system engineers, and other disciplines to ensure systems integration and performance. /li liDevelop documentation to ensure proper use and handling of designed GSE and subsystems by the MAIT team. /li liWork with the procurement team to ensure designed GSE and required external suppliers deliver the systems on time and at required quality. /li liCollaborate with other engineering disciplines to define metrology approach and select any special measurement equipment or measurement suppliers. /li /ul h3REQUIREMENTS /h3 ul liEducational background in mechanical engineering or equivalent through experience. /li li6+ years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on manufacturing mechanisms, structures and jigs, systems that work in harsh environments and high quality manufacturing requirements. /li liProficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD software) for mechanical design and modeling. /li liProven experience designing GSE for testing applications, integration jigs or similar mechanical structures and mechanisms. /li liRelevant experience in high quality manufacturing environments. /li liUnderstanding of high level spacecraft design requirements. /li liAbility to work independently and a self‑starter attitude. /li liStrong problem‑solving skills and a hands‑on approach to addressing engineering challenges. /li liExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and writing technical reports. /li /ul h3NICE TO HAVE /h3 ul liPrevious experience designing space industry mechanical systems and participation in qualification and acceptance campaigns. /li liHands‑on experience with thermal analysis and simulations using tools such as ANSYS, COMSOL,

or similar software. /li liKnowledge of space‑qualified materials and manufacturing techniques (e.g., high‑strength alloys, composites, and advanced coatings). /li liFamiliarity with industry standards and best practices for spacecraft design and testing (e.g., NASA, ESA, ECSS, ISO). /li liFamiliarity with system‑level integration and testing of spacecraft subsystems. /li liExperience with the development of small satellite systems. /li /ul h3WHAT YOU’LL FIND WHEN WORKING AT SATELIOT /h3 pYou will be part of one of the fastest‑growing start‑ups in Spain with global reach, getting into the challenging world of New Space Telecommunication. Our culture is based on embracing openness by welcoming multicultural talent, being respectful with everybody, and being open to exchanging ideas. We are also committed to a healthy lifestyle by helping our team balance their work and personal life and by providing facilities for healthy habits. We are a driven team with big goals, seeking people who are genuinely passionate about their work and who also want to keep learning and getting better personally and professionally. /p h3WHAT DO WE OFFER? /h3 ul liFull time permanent contract. /li liHybrid work model. /li liSchedule flexibility. /li liFlat and transparent organizational structure. /li liBuddy program to help you with your integration during your first month. /li liFlexible compensation package: tax benefits with ticket restaurant, transportation, and kindergarten, training programs. /li liWe promote good physical and mental health, with health insurance, fresh fruit in the office, and the possibility of sharing the cost of bicycle transport or gyms. /li liWork in a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and multicultural environment that will allow you to boost your professional career. /li liTo be part of a strong, international, friendly, and motivated team, where you can progress both personally and professionally. /li liThe chance to be part of one of the most exciting and disruptive space projects in Europe. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
