In this role you drive high-quality structural design across a diverse project portfolio in Madrid, leading technical work while mentoring junior engineers. You act as a trusted advisor to clients, align technical solutions with business goals, and coordinate with PMs and interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated results. The position blends hands-on design leadership with client development in a global, flexible work environment. You will shape complex buildings and infrastructure, contributing to a safer, more resilient built world.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Lead and coordinate complex structural design projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and client satisfaction
• Serve as primary client contact to understand needs and manage expectations
• Oversee interdisciplinary collaboration with architecture, MEP, and other disciplines for integrated solutions
• Perform advanced structural calculations and designs compliant with local and international codes
• Develop technical documentation including calculation reports and tender documentation




• Create and manage Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models within BIM platforms
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
• Represent AECOM in client meetings and industry events
• Address design challenges to meet timelines and budgets
• Offer strategic guidance on structural solutions aligned with client goals

Responsabilidades
• Master's degree in Ingeniería de Caminos, Canales y Puertos (recognised degree in Spain)
• 20+ years of experience in structural design and calculations
• Proven xqbhyrx ability to lead technical aspects of structural design projects
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trusted client relationships as a technical advisor
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and fostering technical excellence
• Ability to coordinate effectively with project managers and interdisciplinary teams
