Using cities as living labs, our industry, research and university partners will demonstrate how new technologies can work to solve real problems in real cities by transporting people, goods and waste in smarter ways. /p h3Join our team and be part of the change! /h3 h3Be part of a team where: /h3 pThe Applications Developer, working closely with the Software Developer Manager and the Technology team, contributes to the development and maintenance of a highly customised NetSuite environment. This includes workflows, custom records, and JavaScript based automation (SuiteScript) that power core business operations. The role is centred on engineering and continuous improvement: designing and delivering scripts and automations, enhancing existing workflows, ensuring safe deployments, and keeping the system stable and scalable. Day to day user support is handled by an external provider, allowing you to focus on technical implementation and automation. You will also contribute to the evolution of an internal applications agent that helps users self‑serve common requests, reducing manual work across the organisation. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSuiteScript development: Build and maintain NetSuite customisations and JavaScript automations. /li liWorkflow optimisation: Create and improve approval flows, notifications, validations, and supporting scripts. /li liTechnical implementation: Deliver enhancements based on specifications defined by the Technical Lead and Business Process Owner. /li liIssue resolution: Investigate and fix issues related to scripts, configuration, access, workflows, and approvals. /li liAutomated testing deployment: Contribute to automated testing and deployment processes to ensure safe, repeatable releases. /li liDocumentation: Produce technical and user documentation to support consistency and autonomy. /li liInternal applications agent:
Help shape and improve an internal applications support agent (content, flows, integration points) to automate common requests. /li liVendor management: Manage the external provider responsible for NetSuite support and maintenance. /li /ul h3What you will bring along the way /h3 pWe’re looking for someone who is proactive, solution oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. You pay attention to detail, enjoy improving processes, and take pride in delivering reliable technical solutions. You communicate clearly, collaborate well with colleagues, and feel comfortable working with structured requirements and technical guidance. You enjoy building tools, automations, and workflows that make internal operations smoother and more efficient. An ideal candidate would strive to generate positive environmental and social impact in line with EIT Urban Mobility’s mission. /p h3Must-have /h3 ul liRelevant studies in Software Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. /li liMinimum 1+ year experience in a similar role (applications administration, ERP/application logic, or related technical role). /li liTechnical skills: JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS. /li liEnglish proficiency (C1 written and spoken). /li liSoftware development background or experience working with application logic and workflows. /li liAbility to understand and write pseudocode to design, explain, or review logic for workflows and scripts. /li liAbility to read code and support applications, reports, and processes. /li liExperience working in an agile development environment (SCRUM, Kanban). /li liInterest in new tools and technologies. /li /ul h3Nice-to-have /h3 ul liTechnical skills: REST APIs, Python, experience with Vue.js. /li liFamiliarity with LLMs or AI agents (design, integration, or experimentation). /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liWork in an international environment with a company culture focused on empowerment, thriving and continuous growth.
