ppWe are looking for a detail-oriented, client-focused bClient /b bAccountant /b, to join our bClient Accounts – Corporate Team /b. This department plays a key role in managing the accounting, tax, compliance, and company secretary obligations for the Spain client base as well as other European jurisdictions. /p pThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Spain engagements, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of services, and maintaining strong communication with both clients and local partners. This is a hands-on role adecuado for someone with experience in Spain accounting and tax matters, and who thrives in a high-performance, multinational environment. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage a portfolio of clients operating in Spain and other EU jurisdictions, overseeing accounting, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and payroll engagements in line with Spanish and EU requirements. /li liPrepare and review statutory financial statements, tax computations, and VAT filings in accordance with applicable accounting standards and relevant local tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions, including Spain. /li liEnsure timely submission of statutory and tax filings with the Agencia Tributaria (AEAT), Mercantile Registry, and other relevant authorities. /li liSupport clients with company incorporation, corporate changes, deregistration, and related corporate secretarial and banking requirements. /li liAct as a primary client contact,
delivering clear professional communications and coordinating with internal teams and external advisors to ensure smooth service delivery. /li liMaintain accurate internal records, engagement trackers, and status reports for all assignments. /li liAssist Hawksford multinational clients in other jurisdictions. /li /ul h3Core Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field. /li liMinimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting, audit (external/internal), or tax advisory. /li liProven career stability, preferably with 3-5 years of continuous service at a single employer /li liProfessional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or Spanish-recognized equivalent, are an advantage /li liGood understanding of Spanish accounting and tax regulations, including Corporate Income Tax (Impuesto sobre Sociedades) and VAT (IVA) /li liPrior experience with a Big Four accounting firm is preferred /li liExcellent English communication skills—both written and verbal /li liFluent in Spanish /li liStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail /li liClient-focused, proactive mindset with a solutions‑oriented approach /li liComfortable working in a multicultural and international team environment /li liThis role is exclusively for candidates located in Valencia or Madrid, Spain and will operate as part of the Dubai Office. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
