ppThe Central Customs Team (CCT), as part of the supply chain – logistics department, provides customs and trade compliance expertise to regional sites and the transport network, driving governance across regions. It translates global compliance and optimisation targets into regional frameworks and guidelines to support operational continuity. /p h3Role and Responsibilities /h3 ul liProactively manage day‑to‑day customs processes. /li liLiaise closely with business stakeholders for alignment and support on current and future initiatives. /li liSupport customs escalations (e.g., coordination between SPOCs, brokers, carriers and other internal and external stakeholders regarding daily shipments). /li liIdentify, report and register incidents and follow up on implementation of corrective controls. /li liAssist on classification of new products and determination of preferential origin. /li liProcess customs‑related payments in our systems. /li liCollect and collate relevant customs data from sites and brokers (scorecards). /li liFollow up on Long‑Term Supplier Declarations (LTSD) procurement. /li liMonitor and support proper export closure (e.g., confirmation of exit, alternative proof of export). /li liSupport customs‑related projects. /li /ul h3Profile /h3 ul liProfessional degree, preferably in Economics, Law or similar. /li liExperience in customs compliance, preferably in manufacturing and distribution. /li liSound understanding of customs processes including determination of origin and classification. /li liStrong analytical skills and process‑optimisation oriented mindset. /li liHands‑on mentality.
