In this role you drive commercial optimization and procurement strategy for Northland’s mature renewable portfolio in Spain. You will partner with operations to maximize asset performance across wind, solar and CSP assets, while leading Spain-specific procurement governance and process improvements. You’ll renew and renegotiate long-term agreements, challenge supplier terms, and structure contracts for long-term value. The position blends strategy, commercial acumen and cross-functional collaboration, with a clear impact on cost, reliability and lifecycle optimization. Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Lead renewal, re-tendering and negotiation of long-term service agreements with OEMs, key suppliers and market agents; support asset enhancement initiatives for BESS projects
• Challenge pricing, scope and commercial structures to secure cost efficiency and long-term value
• Own end-to-end contract lifecycle management from negotiation to post-award performance monitoring
• Administer variations, amendments, claims and dispute resolution; maintain governance and audit readiness




• Develop Spain-specific procurement strategies for aging assets focusing on OPEX optimization, reliability and life extension
• Drive supplier standardization, framework agreements and portfolio-level efficiencies
• Establish supplier KPIs, monitor performance and drive corrective actions
• Serve as Spain focal point for procurement processes, systems and governance; align with global frameworks while adapting to local requirements
• Collaborate with Operations, Asset Management, Engineering, Legal and Finance to align priorities and budgets

Responsabilidades
• 5-8+ years in procurement, contract management or commercial roles
• Strong experience in OEM contract xqbhyrx negotiations (wind or solar preferred; BESS advantageous)
• Experience with project and/or Ou0026M service contracting, cost optimization and procurement strategy
• Solid understanding of contract lifecycle management, claims and variation management, and procurement governance
• Experience in or with the Spanish energy market preferred
• Open to regular travel to key sites; English and Spanish proficiency
