ph3Role Overview /h3 pWe have an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer Intern to join our team on an industrial placement as part of your university degree. This role is starting in September 2020 and will focus on helping organizations become data-driven by turning data into insight-led actions and decisions. This is an idóneo role for people who are passionate about using data to creatively solve problems, drive innovation and support success. /p pAs a member of FSP’s Data Platforms Solutions team, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions using Microsoft Azure data services, including but not limited to Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Data bricks, SQL and Power BI. /p pThis role works closely with colleagues and clients in the UK, so fluency in English is a prerequisite. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liWork as part of the wider FSP project team to deliver intelligent data solutions to clients /li liAssist in defining business requirements for data solutions /li liWrangle and clean data using Python, Pyspark and/or SQL /li liDevelop high quality data products utilising cloud native patterns /li liDevelop solutions that enable higher quality data to be created managed in our customers organisations /li liWork together with our BI and AI teams to provide full Data AI products /li liSupport our data engineers in testing data solutions through UAT to Production /li liLearn the latest technology developments and promote these within your projects /li liShare knowledge as part of the FSP technical community /li /ul h3About you /h3 ul liStrong maths and analytical skills /li liPassionate about technology /li liAble to manipulate large datasets /li liAble to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people /li liGood level of competency in SQL and Python /li liAn understanding of how different types of databases work /li liFluent in English /li liStarting or within the final year of university (degree to be completed 2027)
