ppWe're looking for a structured, reliable bAccountant /b (all genders welcome) to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting. This is a hands‑on role covering ongoing bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable, and the preparation of VAT returns. /p pYou’ll report directly to our Director of Accounting Finance, who owns overall responsibility for accounting, our ERP system (SAP), and financial close. This position is a great fit if you enjoy precise, detail‑driven work, like running tasks independently, and want to support a growing, international SaaS business. /p h3What you’ll do /h3 ul liIndependently manage ongoing bookkeeping under German GAAP (HGB) for German and international entities /li liHandle accounts receivable and payable: invoicing, payments, and collections /li liSupport monthly close, including accruals, deferrals, and account reconciliations /li liPrepare and file VAT returns and other tax filings (e.g. EC Sales Lists, OSS) /li liSupport year‑end close, tax audits, and collaboration with auditors and tax advisors /li liHelp optimise and digitise processes within the SAP ERP system /li liCoordinate with other teams (e.g. Procurement, Legal, Controlling) /li /ul ul liA completed commercial apprenticeship plus certification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) and/or a comparable qualification, e.g.
