As a Technical Deployment Lead in OpenAI’s Forward Deployed Engineering team, you will own end-to-end delivery of complex AI deployments for customers. You translate business goals into technical roadmaps, coordinate across FDEs, Researchers, and Customer Engineers, and drive adoption and readiness with customer teams. You will navigate high-ambiguity environments, manage dependencies, and steer multiple interdependent workstreams from prototype to scale. Your work directly enables customers to integrate and operationalize AI in their workflows, shaping product and platform priorities through field insights.

• Own the technical delivery plan for multiple interdependent workstreams with milestones and acceptance criteria
• Lead day-to-day engineering execution across OpenAI FDE and customer teams to maintain progress and unblock blockers
• Embed with customer teams to land production deployments, shape tools/integrations, and drive onboarding and change management
• Collaborate with Product and Research to ensure platform components land on time to support deployment goals




• Codify reusable solution patterns and extract field signals to improve products and models
• Define value hypotheses and KPIs; measure pre/post deployment impact and report to exec sponsors

Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of customer-facing technical delivery leadership
• Proven track record leading large, complex, high-stakes engagements with AI components
• Ability to operate in high ambiguity and simplify complex dynamics
• Capability to navigate between system-level and execution-level details; map constraints and architectures
• Strategic thinking with ability to recognize patterns across xqbhyrx deployments and scalable solutions
• Strong technical fluency; confident discussing architectures and trade-offs
• Experience shipping AI/LLM systems and understanding production pitfalls
• Executive-level communication to translate technical trade-offs for business leaders
• Willingness to be onsite with customers (often 25–50%) and adapt to travel
• Expertise in at least one major sector (e.g., healthcare, energy, financial services, semiconductors, IT)
