ph3Job Description Summary /h3pThe Electrical Cables Design Engineer is in charge of design and development of electrical cables and harnesses across the full product lifecycle. This role is responsible for delivering robust, reliable and manufacturable design from concept through validation, serial production and operation/service life. The electrical cables design engineer will be responsible for the complete lifecycle ownership of electrical cables and harnesses in the wind turbine, ensuring designs meet technical safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements. The role focuses on reliability and turbine performance following a continuous improvement approach and requires strong engineering judgment, collaboration, and a proactive approach to validation, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign, own, and execute the development of electrical cables and harnesses from concept through validation, serial production, and service life, ensuring full lifecycle ownership. /liliAct as the focal point for support to all relevant business functions, including sourcing, manufacturing, projects, and services. /liliServe as the focal point for site support activities, including PAC, RCA, and NC, to drive turbine reliability and performance improvements. /liliOwn RE-120 for electrical cables and harnesses, ensuring compliance and consistent application in design and execution. /liliApply SQDC principles in all work performed to support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. /liliEnsure lessons learned, as well as quality and safety improvements, are systematically integrated into the design process. /liliOwn component validation activities,



including the development of test procedures and coordination of validation execution. /liliCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver reliable and cost-effective electrical cables and harnesses solutions. /liliSupport continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to standardization, design optimization, and enhanced product performance. /liliSelf‑manage daily operations to achieve on‑time priorities scheduled with the technical leader. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. /lili5 years experience in electrical design activity. /liliFluent in English (spoken and written). /liliStrong oral and written communication skills. /liliStrong problem‑solving skills for technical issue resolution. /liliAbility to work cross‑functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and service teams. /liliFamiliarity with electrical schematics, components, and BOMs. /liliExperience in wind, power generation, manufacturing, or other industrial environments. /liliAble to travel to wind farms and climb turbines. /liliHands‑on approach to solving field and product issues. /liliStrong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple service priorities. /liliProduct Lifecycle Management (PLM) expertise. /liliAbility to work independently. /liliBusiness acumen and customer focus. /liliStrong interpersonal skills, including ownership, self‑motivation, problem solving, analytical, team player, communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to develop relationships. /li /ulh3Additional Information /h3pRelocation Assistance Provided: No. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
