ppVall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution, located in Barcelona (Spain) that promotes and develops innovative biomedical research at the University Hospital Vall d'Hebron. VHIR is oriented towards finding solutions to the health problems of the citizens and has the will to contribute to the scientific, educational, social and economic development within its area of competence around the world. /p pVHIR is seeking a Research Technician to join the Stroke Research Group. Our group has established itself as a leader in the management, recruitment and international coordination of multicentre clinical trials, as well as in the development of patents for new thrombectomy devices and the creation of new technological solutions and digital platforms to improve the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of stroke patients. Robust strategic alliances have also been consolidated with public and private entities that ensure the viability and scalability of the research projects initiated in our group. /p h3Main responsibilities and duties: /h3 ul liInvolvement in a European-funded project based on stroke research and Artificial Intelligence. /li liDatabase preparation, curation and harmonisation in collaboration with other project work packages. /li liClinical research on Stroke involving open science publications and participation in conferences /li /ul h3Education and qualifications: /h3 h3Required: /h3 ul liDegree in Medicine /li liSpecialisation in Neurology /li liFluency in English and Spanish, both oral and written /li /ul h3Desirable: /h3 ul liFluency in Catalan /li liItalian and/or French will be valued /li liCertification in Good Clinical Practice /li /ul h3Experience and knowledge: /h3 h3Required: /h3 ul liAt least 1-year clinical experience in a Stroke Unit.
