We have a fantastic opportunity available in bASSA ABLOY Global Solutions Iberica /b for a bGo Backend Cloud Native Engineer /b in our Hospitality division and in Char. /p pPart of Global Solutions, Integral Solutions provides complete access solutions to specific industry verticals, such as hotels and hotel chains. /p h3Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands /h3 pAs a Go Backend Cloud Native Engineer for the Hospitality Global solutions division of ASSA ABLOY, you will have the opportunity to work as a team member within the RD department and report the results to the RD Team. /p pReporting directly to the Chief Technical Officer, you will be responsible for and work mainly on cloud‑native applications and transformation processes. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liDesign and execute the transition from a modular monolith architecture to a cloud‑native microservices architecture. /li liDefine the strategy for decomposing the monolith into independent services. /li liDesign communication patterns between services (event‑driven, synchronous and asynchronous APIs). /li liBuild the technical foundation of the new Go backend platform (services, standards, and shared structure). /li liEstablish architectural standards for distributed systems (resilience, consistency, observability).



/li liImplement the execution foundation on Kubernetes and continuous deployment practices. /li liIntegrate messaging systems to decouple domains and enable asynchronous processing. /li liDefine and introduce observability practices from the design stage (structured logs, metrics, distributed tracing). /li liAct as a technical reference for cloud‑native architecture decisions within the backend team. /li /ul h3What We Expect Of You /h3 ul liAt least 2 years of experience in a cloud‑native technical/development environment or demonstrable skills – we care about what you can do, not just your resume. /li liPrevious experience in system integration projects (highly valued). /li liBackend development in Go for production cloud‑native systems. /li liGo performance tuning (profiling and optimization). /li liDesign of microservices and APIs (REST/gRPC). /li liKnowledge of API security practices: Authentication, authorization, secure token handling (OAuth, JWT, MD5). /li liDistributed systems with messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ/NATS). /li liContainerization with Docker. /li liDeployment and operations of services in Kubernetes. /li liProduction incident handling and debugging of distributed systems. /li liDevOps‑oriented thinking. /li liAnalytical thinking and strong attention to details. /li liHigh or upper‑intermediate level of spoken and written English and Spanish. /li liGood skills to have remote meetings in English/Spanish. /li liYou also have personal and professional skills. /li liYou are ideally located in the Barcelona metropolitan area (or surroundings).
