This is a hands‑on bFPGA development and product implementation /b role centered on bmulti-FPGA systems /b — not an ASIC design position. /ppYou’ll join a highly collaborative, globally distributed RD organization, working alongside software, hardware, and systems engineers to develop, integrate, verify, and release FPGA technology that ships inside commercial Keysight products used by engineers around the world. /ph3About the Team /h3pYou’ll be part of a tight‑knit RD team based in bBarcelona /b,

As a bSenior FPGA Development Engineer /b, you’ll tackle challenging synchronization and FPGA engineering problems with real, tangible product impact — all within a global RD organization that values technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. /pulliDesign, implement, verify, and maintain FPGA functionality using bSystemVerilog /b. /liliDevelop FPGA solutions for bmulti‑FPGA systems /b powering Keysight instrumentation platforms. /liliOwn the full FPGA development lifecycle: bsimulation, synthesis, implementation, timing closure, and hardware validation /b. /liliIntegrate FPGA functionality with software, hardware, and system‑level components. /liliDebug complex, cross‑domain issues spanning bFPGA, firmware, software, and hardware /b.
/liliDrive technical excellence through bdesign reviews, code reviews /b, and continuous improvement of FPGA development practices. /liliCollaborate with integral RD teams to deliver high‑quality, high‑impact product features. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBS/MS/PhD in bElectrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science /b, or a related field. /liliStrong professional experience in bFPGA design and development using SystemVerilog /b. /liliHands‑on experience building FPGA functionality for bmulti‑FPGA or complex FPGA‑based systems /b. /liliProven track record with bFPGA simulation, synthesis, implementation, and timing closure /b. /liliExperience with bXilinx FPGA devices and Vivado /b. /liliSolid grounding in digital design fundamentals — bclock domain crossing (CDC), memory architectures, interfaces, and timing analysis /b. /liliAbility to debug and integrate FPGA solutions within larger, complex system architectures. /liliComfort with modern bversion control (Git) /b workflows, including branching, code reviews, and merge management. /liliStrong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑first mindset. /li /ulh3Nice to Have /h3ulliExperience with bQuestaSim, UVM /b, or other advanced FPGA verification methodologies. /liliFamiliarity with bVHDL /b and mixed‑language FPGA projects. /liliKnowledge of high‑speed interfaces such as bPCIe, Ethernet, or JESD204 /b. /liliBackground in btest and measurement systems /b. /liliScripting skills in bPython, Tcl, or C++ /b. /liliExposure to bCI/CD /b pipelines and automated testing workflows. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
